Archives exist as a repository for objects considered significant within historical, personal, or social contexts. The transformation of ordinary objects into a definitive collection through rigid documentation, while orderly and logical, is ultimately futile and self-serving. Through photographing ordinary objects and recording measurable yet admittedly absurd details of these objects, I intend to subvert the notion of importance inherent within the archival process.
